Walking the Camino de Santiago (French Way) | 500 Miles (800KM) | July - August | 34 Days

In 2022, my dad and I walked the Camino de Santiago, starting in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Earlier in the year, for parts of four months, I had been on the other side of Europe, in Ukraine, documenting the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. In April, while I was still in Ukraine, my mom passed away back home. On July 16, 2022, dad I began our walk on the Camino. This 48-minute video begins with a one-minute introduction (including a few images from Ukraine), then I stop talking. The remainder is a first-person point of view walking the Camino, set to music.
