Join me on a solo narrowboat cruise along the beautiful River Weaver, from Dutton Lock to the intriguingly named Devil’s Garden. Along the way, I uncover some fascinating history: ⚓ The elegant Dutton Horse Bridge 🚂 The mighty Dutton Viaduct towering above the river 🔥 And a special treat — passing the magnificent Daniel Adamson Steam Tug (The Danny) with plenty of drone footage! I even float the idea of a future viewer meet-up aboard the Daniel Adamson — would you come along? As for the mystery of why it’s called Devil’s Garden… since no one really knows, I invent my own tale, leaving a bottle of rum on the roof of my boat as an offering. Pirate nonsense? Maybe. Isolation rambling? Definitely.
