How I put on a free community clothing swap

Oh hello there! I am excited to getting back to posting on my YouTube channel, so thank you for sticking around. One of the many things that I have been up to is growing my free community clothing swap here in Greenville SC. You definitely don’t have to put on a huge event like this to have a good time, but it has been truly wonderful to see my little backyard shindig grow into something much bigger over the last six years. One thing I forgot to mention in this video is that we accept all sorts of clothing at this swap - womens/mens/childrens, clothing/shoes/purses/jewelry/accessories. You can put on whatever parameters that make sense for you. One restriction that we’ve had to make due to limited space is no household or non clothing items, but if you have the space it’s really fun to get new decor and craft supplies at swaps! Another thing that I meant to mention is that Kendall accepts donations at the swap for several weeks beforehand and volunteers come in and help sort and organize, with lots of shifts in the couple days beforehand. This encourages people to come in and shop for refills at her store, and also gives us time to prepare and sort everything. We ask swappers to leave hangers behind so that we can reuse them. If I left out anything, just leave a comment and I will be happy to answer it!
