Alan Wake 1 & 2 | A Self-Indulgent Retrospective

In 2010, finnish developer Remedy released the original Alan Wake, the follow-up to their successful series of Max Payne games. Since then it has been the topic of endless discussions. Is the game good? Bad? Profound? Pretentious? I have personally shifted my opinion from one side to the other, multiple times, for the better part of a decade. Now I aim to find a definitive answer to these questions, but especially to one: Is Alan Wake as interesting to talk about as it is to actually play? Now that the long awaited sequel, Alan Wake 2, has survived its 13 years in development hell, maybe it can add the last vital piece to this puzzle. 0:00 Intro 2:38 Part 1: Alan Wake 31:27 The Collectors Edition... 33:01 Part 2: Alan Wake 2 1:08:53 Part 3: Conclusion 1:11:16 End Credits Patreon:   / pimscrypt   Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/pimscrypt.bs...
