The Basics of Forearm Rotation in Piano Technique
My take on how to learn and apply rotation to piano playing. Forearm rotation has huge potential to improve our facility at the piano while reducing muscle tension and preventing injuries. This lesson covers the most common application of rotation (notes alternating in direction) with just enough anatomy to help you learn the movement properly. I work with intermediate and advanced pianists online. For more information about my teaching, go here: https://patrickcashin.ca/teaching/
