On March 2nd, the streets of Plauen will once again shout "Helau" and "Alaaf." Numerous floats and carnival enthusiasts will celebrate the highlight of the fifth season. The Vogtland Carnival Association, the umbrella organization for the carnival clubs based in the Vogtland region, is once again receiving support from the ZIZ discretionary fund for its large, now 29th, carnival parade through the city center. There will also be a livestream of the parade on the city's YouTube channel.
