After crossing snowy mountains we arrive at the Black Sea in Trabzon, before driving on to Cappadocia where we stay in a beautiful vintage-inspired stone cave home, which you can find here https://www.esbelli.com/ and later in the town of Ortahisar we stayed here http://www.hezenhotel.com/. This town was also where we ate incredible food at the sometimes-open restaurant called Tandir. In Cappadocia we explored cave dwellings and panoramic views from mountain tops at sunset before driving on to Istanbul. I chose to stay at the Witt hotel https://www.wittistanbul.com/ because it is intimate with incredible design and is located in a very cool buzzing neighborhood, within a walk or a tram from everything, including the magnificent Hagia Sophia.
