When Building for Fixie Points Goes Wrong

I tried putting non-track Paul 100% Pure cranks on my fixed gear and ran into a bunch of problems. I have a love-hate relationship with these cranks. They're beautiful, made a bikeable distance from me, cured my cycling knee pain, are a blast to ride, and are dripping in Fixie Points. That is, when they work. These are the most finnicky cranks I've ever used. They constantly loosen up, and I'm afraid that they'll be irrepairably damaged. I made compromises to get these to work on my fixed gear, but maybe the compromises weren't enough. 🚲 Wabi Cycles - Fun steel bikes that work better than my custom Fixie Points build: https://wabicycles.com ✨ Absolutely Made in USA T-Shirts: https://www.zachgallardo.com/merch 📹 zachy.mp4 (Minimalism Channel):    / @zachy.mp4   #fixedgear
