This Might Be My New Favorite Trail in Arizona… and it was brutal

In Part 3 of our Arizona overland series, we take on the infamous Angel Wings Trail deep in the Sierra Anchas… and it quickly turned into one of the toughest—and most rewarding—trails we’ve ever run. What started as a remote exploration for abandoned asbestos mines turned into a full-on challenge. Fallen trees forced us to cut our way through the trail just to keep moving, and as we climbed higher, the terrain only got worse. Washed out sections, steep climbs, and technical lines pushed us (and our rigs) to the limit. But at the top… it all paid off. Sitting high above the desert was the Angel Wings Mine—remote, rugged, and one of the most unforgettable spots we’ve explored to date. This trail might honestly be my new favorite… but it definitely didn’t make it easy. If you’re into overlanding, abandoned history, and real off-road challenges, this is one you don’t want to miss. 🌵 Arizona Overland Series – Part 3 📍 Sierra Anchas, Arizona 🔥 Merch: https://www.whitedogoverland.com 🗺️ OnX Offroad Code: WDO20 🤝 Support the Channel (Patreon):   / whitedogoverland
