Simple to Stepped-Up: Prairie Grass Cardmaking Tutorial

Hi and welcome. My name is Lucia Visentin and I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Melbourne, Australia. Tonight’s live was all about showing how you can start simple and then build on that same design to step it up for a more detailed look. The first card was created with just the Prairie Grass stamp set, Basic Beige cardstock, and three ink colours: Black, Old Olive, and Misty Moonlight. Add in a blending brush, and that was it—clean, calm and so effective. For the stepped-up version, I kept the layout similar but added a few extras: • Exposed Brick embossing folder • Two-Tone torn cardstock • Linen thread for a soft natural finish • Extra layers with Black and Old Olive cardstock It’s always fun to see how a few additional elements can elevate your design while keeping the original vibe.
