Electronic scrap (e-Waste) (boards, cards, processors) can be thrown away, turned in for recycling, or completely removed from the boards, all components containing precious metals such as gold, palladium, and silver. Recently, the prices of palladium, gold, and silver have risen significantly and continue to rise rapidly. This, in turn, leads to higher prices for recycled materials. This video features boards from printers, CD drives, SCSI controllers, video card hard drives, and various network cards. All slot cards have lamellas on them. These lamellas, in turn, are of particular interest because gold can be easily extracted from them. These boards have no collectible value, but they do contain various chips (northbridge, southbridge, BGA), SMD components, quartz crystals with a high gold content, and many other elements. All of them contain precious metals (gold, palladium, silver, platinum, tantalum). All of these boards can be recycled if you find a specialized recycling center, or you can disassemble them and recover a large number of chips. The video will show and explain which element or chip contains which precious metals. Various methods for removing them will be demonstrated, as they are simple and easy to do.
