Walt Disney World Vlog | EPCOT Food & Wine | Exploring Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds

Hi! Welcome to this new Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line vlog series! Instagram:   / alex_slann   Instagram:   / maxwell_birkin   In this vlog we start our first full day at the cabins at Disneys Fort Wilderness Resort, our plan today is to collect the golf cart (buggy) which we have hired and explore the resort. We head out on the golf buggy and have a drive around, we start at the Meadow Recreation area which has tennis courts, a pool, BBQ area, picnic area, a big lake and the campfire area which Is where they play the movies under the stars and Chip & Dales campfire singalong! On to the main Pioneer Hall area which is at the top of the resort, this is where the Hoop De Doo is located, a restaurant, quick service, shop and bar. You can also get the boats to the Magic Kingdom and other Magic Kingdom resorts plus the monorail if you wanted! We take a look in the shop which was called the trading post as we need a new pin for our new resort stay! It smells just like you would expect the resort to smell with a dark woody smokey smell. They have some really fun specific merch in the store. Brunch/Lunch/Breakfast time so we head in to Trails End Restaurant and order food, they have a really nice porch area with rocking chairs over looking the lake where we ate our food. It's now time for Alex to drive the golf buggy and we head to the other shop on the property which is the Meadow Trading Post, here we quickly pick up some water for the cabin. We then head to EPCOT for the rest of the day, but first coffee! We head on to Spaceship Earth where for some reason we had German commentary. Communicore hall is next where they have a lot of festival merch and a quick service stand selling all kinds of macaroni and cheeses. We then head on to living with the land for a relaxing ride before joining the queue for Soarin where Max plays a game in the queue line. After Soarin we pick up a map for EPCOTs food and wine festival and work our way through the challenge where you have to go to any of the stands on the book in the back and a food item from that food stand, once you get a food item from that stand you get a stamp and once complete you get a free ice cream! There is a new picnic area which has also been built. We start at the Forest and Field stand where we have a Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli with Sage-Brown Butter, Pecorino Cheese, and Hazelnut Praline (Emile's Fromage Montage Offering), next from Hawaii we have Slow-roasted Pork Slider with Sweet-and-Sour DOLE® Pineapple Chutney and Spicy Mayonnaise and a Passion Fruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts (Emile's Fromage Montage Offering). Then on to Canada for maple popcorn! Our next stand is Greece where we try the Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey then on to Germany for the Schinkennudeln which is Pasta Gratin with Ham, Onions, and Cheese. We have now completed the challenge and can collect our free reward which was a sort serve ice cream. Our boarding group for Guardians of the Galaxy has now been called where we get the last song we need to complete the list! We then head back to the Cabin for the night and end the vlog here, we have been told we are moving out of the cabins the next day due to Hurricane Milton which is on the way but at this point we did not know where we were being moved to.
