5 over 3 over 4 Polyrhythmic Groove

Here we take a different perspective on the polyrhythm that appeared in a previous video, 5 over 4 over 3. Now we're playing 5 over 3 over 4. So how is that different you may ask? Well the reversal of the last two numbers changes the subdivision in which we're playing, from sixteenth-notes, to eighth-note triplets. I could waffle on here about what's happening exactly but you'd be far better off just watching the video. Which I've even been considerate enough to add some notation to at no extra cost. Once again I will add the caveat that this is some pretty 'f*$%ed up $&*t' which if unleashed upon unsuspecting bandmates in the heat of battle has the potential to cause pain and suffering and possibly ultimately job loss. And so for any of the above I hereby accept no responsibility nor offer any refunds. You have been warned... I will however finally say that this has been a great challenge to master-but it can be confusing as hell to listen to. To the point where when I came back to watching this after recording it a couple of weeks ago I couldn't even follow it! And I realised the key to that is to listen first to the hi-hat and next to the '3' on the bass drum, in other words the foot ostinato, after which it gradually drops into place. Or perhaps not.
