One Dead in Shooting at Joel Osteen’s Texas Megachurch
Celebrity pastor and author Joel Osteen said this religious “community is devastated” by the shooting at his Houston, Texas, megachurch, Lakewood. Authorities say a woman entered the church wearing a trench coat and carrying a rifle before opening fire. Off-duty law enforcement killed the shooter. A 5-year-old boy and a 57-year-old man are being treated for gunshot wounds. The child is in critical condition.
