Strange Dana 60 Swap - The Ultimate Axle Upgrade For Dylan's 1974 Dodge Dart Sport (And Your Mopar)

I've been working on Dylan's 1974 Dodge Dart Sport project for over a year now. No, I don't know how that happened either. In previous videos, I explained the formula for this build, pulled the original slant six drivetrain (which was in pretty sorry shape,) explained how I will convert the car to a V8, and fully overhauled the front suspension with some choice upgrade parts in preparation for the drivetrain swap. Today, we're addressing another important part of the chassis improvement equation - the rear axle. The factory 7 1/4 axle certainly isn't going to hold up to 408 stroker clutch drops, so we went looking for a replacement with some beef. While my initial instinct was to source an A-body 8 3/4 for the car, the cost and challenge involved in doing so led us down the path to this option from Doctor Diff - a drop-in Dana 60 axle replacement, spec'd perfectly to fit our A-body and our needs.
