The Congost de Mont-Rebei is a breathtaking rocky gorge in the Montsec mountains, which winds its way between Catalonia and Aragon in north-eastern Spain. A narrow hiking trail leads partly along rock faces over wooden walkways and offers spectacular views of the turquoise Noguera Ribagorçana gorge. This tour is incredibly rewarding in terms of scenery, but it requires sure-footedness, good footwear and sufficient water – especially in the summer months.
