Building Emma
Slideshow of the construction history of Emma. Emma was built by my father Tom Pollmann. The ship is a replica of a Norwegian rescue vessel designed by Colin Archer. The original plan was to use her to sail the world with Vera Oremus, my mother. Unfortunately, Vera died in 2002. Despite this Emma sailed in October 2013 for the first time. This was not possible without the help of lots of "Friends of Emma"
