NABA champion Andranik Grigoryan will make his RCC debut against undefeated Aznaur Kalsynov. On January 28 in Yekaterinburg, rising world boxing star Andranik Grigoryan (15-1) from Armenia entered the RCC Boxing Promotions ring. His opponent was undefeated Aznaur Kalsynov (3-0-3). Grigoryan made his professional debut in 2017 in Moscow. By that time, he had already undergone a rigorous Olympic boxing training, competing for the Russian national team. However, Andranik decided to develop overseas and flew to Canada, where in two years he won the NABA title. He thus became a contender for the WBA world title, but in 2022, he missed out on a chance to fight Otabek Kholmatov in the United States. RCC management gave Kalsynov a serious opportunity to immediately ascend the world rankings. If he wins, he could be a contender for the WBA regional titles, but to do so, he'll have to give it his all and then some. Aznaur always puts on tough fights that go to the judges' decision, and while early in his career, the scorecards were close, now Kalsynov leaves his opponents no chance.
