Just Play was born in 2013, with the aim of breaking down barriers between artists in the Americas and demystifying geographical and cultural differences, through art. Looking for the roots of the African diaspora, we have documented more than 275 artists from NYC, NOLA, San Juan and Cuba. Our journey has continued and we are now in Lima, Peru. Thanks to the community of artists that have made Just Play possible and our supporters. We start 2020 by sharing Chapter 7 of our documentary series with Araceli Poma, Peruvian vocalist and producer of Just Play, accompanied by distinguished artists like Howard Levy, the renowned Peruvian musicians, Coco Vega Guitarrista and Alfredo Valiente and American bassist Matt Geraghty.
