Video filmed August 26, 2025 The Los Chorros Viaduct project in El Salvador is a mega-road infrastructure project that includes the construction of a viaduct over 1 km long and the expansion of 15 km of highway to eight lanes, from Las Delicias to the San Juan Opico bypass. The goal is to modernize this vital road, which connects the western part of the country with the capital, and reduce traffic and the constant historical landslides. The project, which began in 2022, is the largest of its kind in the country's history, costing over $370 million and financed by a South Korean loan.
