German Type VII R/C buildup in 1/32 scale - CH.8: MAIDEN VOYAGE
The big Type VII has finally had her maiden voyage! This took place behind my home in Naples, FL about a week ago. I'm happy to report that the test was a shining success! The uboat has a tendency to drop in the rear when undertaking a turn, and I assume that is a result of the design of the boat. A bit of corrective action on the planes brings her back to trim without issue. Look for the next (final?) video in the buildup coming soon where I document the functional electric torpedoes!
