Restoration Old Drill Press Part 2

For some years now, we have had a KRENN model SB 32/9 RLM drill press machine standing around in our workshop. We had to make the decision to either restore it or buy a newer replacement. Since we wanted to start our "German Restoration" channel, the decision to restore was obvious. This is the second part of the very elaborate restoration of this drill press. The first part shows you how we disassembled the machine. In the second part we will show you the restoration of the individual parts and the reassembly. We hope you like our video. We appreciate any likes and positive comments we receive! We would also be happy to answer any questions you have in the comments! _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Time Stamps: 00:00 Intro 00:24 Removing the old paint 00:58 Welding 01:06 Sanding 01:30 Painting 01:49 Removing the old paint 02:08 Filing 02:57 Miling 03:30 Cleaning with Acetone 03:52 Masking with tape 04:38 Painting with Hammerite 04:54 Smearing with Grüneck Power 05:11 Scrapeing off Grüneck power 05:39 Sawing 06:09 Cutting with the angle grinder 06:37 Filling and sanding 07:26 Turning 08:16 Bluing 08:59 Removing the ball bearing 09:18 Sandblasting 11:20 Cleaning parts with Acetone 11:46 Masking with tape 12:06 Painting 12:48 Cleaning with MC 51 13:33 Assembling the engine 14:48 Reassembling the drill press 19:35 Testing the drill 19:57 Before after presentation 21:05 Outro _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Link to Part 1:    • Restoration Old Drill Press Part 1   _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sozial media Follow us on Instagram:   / germanrestoration   Our Facebook Page:   / germanrestoration   _________________________________________________________________________________________________
