Roll the intro.” “Buckle up Skydians, because we’re boarding the Cable Cam.” “The CableCam skill is only available when flying with the App... or Controller.” “Cable Cam will allow you to fly pre-planned camera moves.” “When performing a Cable Cam, Skydio 2 will fly from a starting position and camera orientation to a finishing position and camera orientation, smoothly transitioning between the two while autonomously avoiding obstacles.” “To set up a cable cam, first select ‘Cable’ in the skills menu.” “Then, pilot Skydio 2 to the position, and camera angle that you would like your shot to start from, and press the ‘Set A’ button on your device.” “Next pilot Skydio 2 to the position and camera angle that you would like your shot to finish in, and press the ‘Set B’ button.” “Once both points are set, you can initiate a flight from one point to another by tapping either the ‘A’ or ‘B’ buttons.” “Use the slider to adjust the speed at which Skydio 2 is traveling between the two points.” “In the Cable Cam settings menu, you will find that there are three types of Cable Cam. Manual, which is the default, Loop, and Tether.” “A Manual Cable Cam will require you to select which point you want Skydio 2 to fly to. Upon reaching that point Skydio 2 will remain in place.” “When you tap one of your Cable Cam points, Skydio 2 will smoothly transition between the preset camera positions.” “You can also select a subject to track by pressing on the blue ‘plus’ icon over a subject.” “Skydio 2 will still fly from one point to another, but now it will continue to track the subject instead of performing the preset camera movements.” “With a Looping Cable Cam, Skydio will continuously fly from one point to another, performing the preset camera movements.” “You can select a subject to track, and Skydio 2 will continue to fly between points ‘A’ and ‘B’ while tracking the subject throughout.” “A Tethered Cable Cam will require you to select a subject to track.” “Skydio 2 will then follow that subject, moving between points ‘A’ and ‘B’ based on the direction the subject is traveling.” “Cable Cam is a great way to create unique pre-planned shots. Such as a big landscape reveal.” “Use the Controller when setting a Cable Cam to get even more precise camera positions.” “Skydio 2 will avoid obstacles while flying a Cable Cam, but keep in mind that it will not always navigate around an obstacle, the same way each time, because Skydio 2 does not remember previous flight paths.” "If you need to change one of your points, press the 'Edit' button.
