Campground Tour: Indian Point Campground, an Army Corps of Engineers park, located in Branson, Missouri #Bransoncamping #indianpointcampgroundtour #thingstodobranson Branson base camp, a perfect base camp for exploring the Branson area! In fact, Silver Dollar City is only a few minutes away. Anyone who follows our travels knows we avoid touristy areas preferring quiet, peaceful and sometimes out of the way places. However, we made an exception here and we're happy we did. There is so much to do in Branson from enjoying peaceful camping on Table Rock Lake to visiting many of the tourist areas in the area. Of course, there are restaurants, shopping, and various other lodging facilities and campgrounds in the area. Silver Dollar City even has its own campground. You can also check out Table Lake State Park with over 200 campsites! Back to Indian Point, we enjoyed visiting with family and being tourists there. What we love about Indian Point Campground: 1. Beautiful area on the shores of Table Rock Lake 2. Scenic park roads 3. Restaurants and convenience store within walking distance 4. Close proximity to Silver Dollar City and other Branson attractions 5. Deer 6. Marina 7. Swim Beach 8. Verizon and Sprint works here 9. Water views What we didn't love about Indian Point Campground: 1. Busy road to the marina can noisy A simple search of things to do in Branson will be overwhelming. Plan ahead to ensure you get to do the things you want. For example, the riverboat dinner cruise was completely booked during our stay. If you are interested, the Showboat Branson Belle offers a three course meal and entertainment while cruising Table Rock Lake. It is part of Silver Dollar City and you can order a ticket package that includes the cruise and the water park, White Water. We enjoyed an action packed visit and relaxing lake time.
