Medieval Tabard Cosplay Tutorial

See how easily you can create awesome looking cosplay armor. Disclaimer: In this video I use very sharp and very hot tools. You can, and at some point, will, get cut/burned while crafting. Please be careful, and craft responsibly. This video shows how I created my medieval tabard/surcoat, from the actual pattern plan to the finished product A reasonably easy build, I would rate it 2/5 in difficulty. Here is the list of items actually used in this video: Dark blue cotton canvas (mine was from Spotlight. I bought a square of 1.6x1.6m but could have used a bit less as I cut a fair bit from the bottom in the end) https://www.spotlightstores.com/sewin... 40mm-wide White Heading Tape (from Spotlight again, 10 meters worth) Sharp Scissors Hot Glue Gun (from Bunnings https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-10w...) Hot Glue Sticks (LOTS! I probably ended up using 30-35 for the whole build https://www.bunnings.com.au/craftrigh...) (Optional) A Sewing Machine (with some white thread, and the skill to use it) Here's a link to the Ned Kelly story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Kelly And his (in)famous armor: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned_Kel...
