Therefore, it took me 1 year to be called after passing the exam. The exam had 60 questions, of which I answered 52 correctly. Therefore, 86.66% of the exam. I ranked 4th in my city. At the time (2012), the competition was by city. In the last exam, the competition was by region (executive management). As soon as we started, we received training, mainly to learn how to use the systems. In my case, my training was conducted by a more senior employee, who guided me step-by-step during the first two weeks of work. Other colleagues report that they had in-person training in a city chosen by the INSS (Brazilian National Social Security Institute), which paid all travel, accommodation, and food costs for this training, along with other new employees. Looking back at the INSS exam, I studied an average of 12 hours a day, which amounts to around 600 hours of study over a 2-month preparation period. Does this mean you should do the same? No! Such an exhausting study schedule can do more harm than good. However, I hyperfocused during that time window, seized that opportunity with all my might, and gave MORE than my maximum effort. Would I have been able to maintain such a study routine for a longer period? Certainly not! I'm not saying it's impossible, because nothing is impossible for a human being, but I am saying it's extremely stressful, distressing, and tiring. I suggest spreading this number of hours over the months remaining until the exam. I teach effective study and planning techniques in Module Zero of the complete course.
