Residents of San Isidro, in the municipality of Níjar, are expressing their concern about the changes they perceive in their streets, neighborhoods, and businesses after decades of immigration linked to the Almería countryside. Following the mass immigration regulations implemented by Pedro Sánchez's government, the Moroccan Consulate in Almería was forced to open two appointment-based service points to prevent the thousands of applicants from clogging the streets and causing ongoing disturbances.
