I Didn't Expect Lift Like This!

A relaxed Sunday afternoon flying session with the Kite DLG 1.5 at Clacton-on-Sea. Conditions were cloudy and fairly windy, but despite the weather we managed to connect with some strong thermals that really helped the glider climb and stay up. As always, there are a few aerobatic manoeuvres mixed into the flight for some extra fun. This wasn't a testing session or competition practice, just an enjoyable day out flying and making the most of the conditions. Sometimes even on windy days you can find some surprisingly good lift if you're in the right place at the right time.
