A brown bear family group grazes on sedge as the wind increases with a storm approaching on the Alaska coast. At this point the wind is 20-30 mph but the rain has not started. It was not possible to film normally in these windy conditions so this is filmed from the vestibule of my tent. The bears are apparently not affected but are very much intent on eating. I was scheduled to get picked up by a floatplane on the evening of July 1 but the intensifying storm delayed that for two more days.
