Backpacking the coast at Point Reyes Nat Seashore- Wildcat Beach Alamere Falls Sky Ridge
I recently went backpacking along the pacific coast in California's Point Reyes National Seashore, which is just north of the San Francisco Bay. This is a video I made from the trip, which was done during the last week of January, 2026. A recap can be read here: / new-video-point-150599837 We started at Lamantour Beach and hiked into the Coast Camp, then up to Sky Camp. From there we hiked down the wooded ridge to reach the wildcat camp and beach area, where we stayed for 2 nights. Freaking awesome! We hiked over to the beautiful Alamere Falls, which flow's right into the ocean at high tide. We saw lots of deer and elk, along with seals and other sealife. The beaches were pristine, and we had many views overlooking the ocean throughout the trip. I was highly surprised.
