Live under water view of a second-season 300 gallon stock tank pond located in Western New York. This pond began as a simple Tractor Supply stock tank and has matured into a functioning outdoor ecosystem with fish, plants, snails, beneficial bacteria, and natural filtration. Current inhabitants include: • 3 Shubunkin goldfish • 2 Comet goldfish • ~10 Medaka (Japanese rice fish) • ~8 Fathead minnows • ~5 White Cloud Mountain minnows • Dozens of Red Ramshorn snails Filtration is provided by a separate 40-gallon stock tank filter filled with seasoned LECA, pond stone, and pea gravel. Water is distributed through a handmade clay drainage tile manifold before returning to the pond.
