Spindle Replacement from S Blade to Star Blade Cub Cadet ZT1 MTD Riding Lawn Mower

In this video, I show you how easy it is to change from the proprietary "S" lawnmower blade type to the much more common "star" pattern lawnmower blade by changing out the spindles on your zero-turn lawnmower. The cost was not much more expensive than a new set of OEM Cub Cadet blades and the new spindles allow for easy maintenance with the zirk grease fittings. Total install time 1 hour. Note: The spindles I used on my Cub Cadet ZT1 50 were not a cross referenced part number as one did not exist that had the "star" pattern. Make sure and measure your spindles before ordering.
