One Of The GOATS! - The Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 Retrospective

Don't Forget To LIKE and Subscribe! To say that Star Wars: Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight was ahead of its time might be the biggest understatement I could say about this game. For coming out in 1997 this game has the most in depth story for any shooter I've played around this time period. Normally we like to credit Half-Life for bringing story into the FPS genre but Lucas arts was really trying their hardest to do just that here. The story is one of the best I've played in a star wars game and the live action cutscenes were more fun to watch than anything Disney has put out recently. On top of the great story the game play is amazing for the time. Sure the Gun play is lacking compared to some of its contemporaries but the lightsaber fights and Force powers more than make up for that.
