"Lt. Col. Mark Weber: A Story of Service, Leadership, and Inspiration"
Lt. Col. Mark Weber served for 16 years in the Regular Army before making a transition to the full-time Minnesota National Guard (AGR) in 2009 in order to be near his father-in-law, who was battling his own cancer. Little more than a year later, after being recognized nationally as one of the best officer recruiters in the country and while preparing for a deployment to Afghanistan, Mark was diagnosed with Stage IV gastrointestinal cancer. He is recently the author of "Tell My Sons..." The conversation is moderated by Ronald Heifetz, King Hussein Bin Talal Senior Lecturer in Public Leadership and founding director of CPL.
