The day she turned 19 she asked her father one wish, to adventure the outside world. Her father, though very worried how his only daughter would fare in the outside world, ultimately allowed her wish and watched as she walked through the wooden magic gates and into the dark forest with a spell book a magical lantern, a bag full of herbs, potion bottles and of course, her familiar cat, pumpkin. But Vadena isn’t the only person out on her own journey of self-discovery, along the way she makes two friends, Kai Murphollo, A spunky, laid-back fish-ghost learning to find himself after being utterly rejected by his people. And a mysterious winter witch who goes by the name of Lavanna Nightingale.
