KC Tool Haul #4.5: Cyber Monday Stragglers

Sorry for the lack of uploads recently, I was out of town over much of the holidays and things have been quite busy as of late. That said, I have recorded quite a few videos and I'm finally getting around to editing/uploading. Additionally, I've got some cool projects I'll be working on soon! In this video we open up the box of our back-ordered Cyber Monday haul! We take a look at the soft cap to pair with our 500g hammer, a stupid good deal on NWS Pliers, and the oh so pleasurable to use Gedore Grip Wrench, which imo is the best pair of "Vise-Grips" on the market. This was recorded back in early January and subsequently I have gotten to use the locking pliers quite a bit. The release paddle is so much more user friendly than traditional Vise-Grips. Gedore does have a fairly extensive line of locking pliers with the same style release (Knipex has some too), but I would really like to see a set with a straight jaw at this same price point (around $20 on sale). If you are in the market for some more Vise-Grips, these are an absolute steal at $20! I know an argument might be that the handle could be inadvertently released...with about a month of use, I have yet to do that and I've had them in some very tight spaces.
