2005 Dodge Ram 1500 transfer case: removal and install

Removing and and replacing a transfer case on a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. My truck felt like it went into neutral all of a sudden while driving down the road. After working with it, I was finally able to get it to go into 4x4 low and made it home. 4x4 low is the only gear it would go with in and I also noticed they it would pop very loud when I was in 4x4 before this happened to me. I would recommend checking your transfer case for fluid if you suspect this is your problem. I got the part from a local used parts place for $250 and installed it myself. According to google, the average price to replace a transfer case is around $2600. I tried to be thorough in this removal and install so that someone else may be able to watch this if they have the same problem potentially save themselves hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
