Druskieniki - jakie atrakcje czekają nas na miejscu

Druskininkai is the largest and most modern spa town in Lithuania, one of the best climatic and balneological resorts in Europe. It boasts numerous mineral springs and peat deposits. It houses nine sanatoriums and a balneological center. The first written mention of Druskininkai dates back to 1636, although a fortified settlement likely existed here as early as the 13th century. This settlement burned down in 1308, after which the area became depopulated. In the 18th century, local healer Pranas Surutis (Salty) was the first to use the water from the brine springs for healing. In 1794, by decree of the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, Stanisław August Poniatowski, Druskininkai was granted the status of a health resort. This is what Wikipedia says about the town. We'll show you what the park and promenade look like, where to drink the healing waters and enjoy spa treatments, how to relax by the lake, and where you can go skiing in the largest refrigerator in Europe in the summer. #Lithuania #Druskininkai #Druskininkai #Health Resort
