This hearty meal combines rice, eggs, minced beef, pork, bacon, tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese, all baked together for rich flavour and perfect texture. This recipe is simple to prepare and ideal for a family dinner or weekend comfort food. 🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4) 360g rice 4 eggs 720ml water 1 onion 4 garlic cloves 20g tomato paste 1 rasher of bacon 170g pork mince 170g beef mince 400ml peeled tomatoes 45ml grated Parmesan cheese Salt and pepper to taste 👨‍🍳 Method 1) Chop the onion, garlic, and bacon. Fry for 1–2 minutes. 2) Add tomato paste and cook for another minute. Add the minced meat and cook for 2 more minutes. 3) Pour in the peeled tomatoes, bring to the boil, then simmer for 40–45 minutes. 4) Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 6–7 (165–175°C). 5) Transfer the sauce to a buttered baking dish. Add washed rice, grated cheese, beaten eggs, water, salt, and pepper. Mix well. 6) Bake for 30 minutes.
