Virginia Woolf and the Legacy of Charleston
‘Mrs. Dalloway said she would buy the flowers herself.’ To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the publication of ‘Mrs Dalloway’, Virginia Woolf’s modernist masterpiece, we stepped through the door of Charleston to explore the legacy of this extraordinary house and its residents. Dr Darren Clarke, Head of Collections, Research and Exhibitions at Charleston, takes us on a tour of the house through objects connected to Virginia Woolf, while the wonderful Jemma Redgrave brings to life some of her most iconic works. Many thanks to @CharlestonTrust for the support.
