The Phantom of the Opera (French radio play) [ENG SUB]

I know it's not NDDP, but there's Alain Cuny as the Phantom so it's a teensy bit related to NDDP in a way? ^^' well anyway, I did my best to translate this, I hope you'll enjoy :) This radio play "The Phantom of the Opera" premiered on 3rd October 1964 on France Culture. It's adapted by Jean-François Hauduroy, and directed by Claude Roland-Manuel. Why is Raoul named Georges in this adaptation? It's just a hypothesis on my part, but I think this modification is due to the film "Les Tontons Flingeurs" (English: Crooks in Clover, also known as Monsieur Gangster, literally Gun-toting Uncles) released in 1963, a year before this radio play. The film was a huge hit in France, and its dialogues have become cult favorites. One of the characters in this film is named Raoul (played by Bernard Blier), so I imagine Christine's fiancé must have had his name changed to avoid association with the film (which I immediately did when reading the novel for the first time, imagining Raoul saying "This punk doesn't know Raoul yet!"
