It first opened in 1965 making it one of the older motorways in Scotland, but it would still be getting "work" done as late as 2023. In this thrilling episode, we've got art installations known as "The Kelpies" Scotland history, old concrete buildings, canal wheels, dodgy junctions and plenty more such as the Grangemouth Oil Refinery. In this series I aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing.
