Taking advantage of the May high tide, our whole family went to the Vancouver beach to catch Dungeness crabs! It happened to be Victoria Day, a long weekend, and the tide was almost at zero meters, exposing the entire beach 🌊 We initially thought that with so many people during the holiday, all the crabs would probably have been caught… But we actually found quite a few good ones! 🦀 Besides Dungeness crabs, we also saw many other marine creatures that we rarely see: 🕷️ Spider Crab 🦀 Red Rock Crab 🌿 Kelp Crab 🦐 We even caught a shrimp!? 🌊 Low tide is really fun! During high tide, many places in Vancouver that are usually hidden are exposed.
