56091 Test Run *Exhaust Fire* at Barnt Green (Plus climbing the Lickey), 14/03/13.

DCR's 56091 was booked out on it's test run on the 14/03/13, from Washwood Heath to Gloucester and back (0Z56/0Z57). This run had been long awaited. The first shot is at Barnt Green station on the outward run, as the loco approaches in the distance flashes of orange flame can be seen coming from the top of the loco and as these disappear monster clag! Put the video on full screen for the first 30 seconds you can clearly see flames on the top of the loco!! The loco then clags through the station, although it doesn't sound to bad. The second shot is of the return run as the loco climbs the Lickey Incline, as the loco arrives a helicopter is overhead and making to much noise. The loco, cab packed with staff, seems to slow, toot and accelerate away. After the pan the shot is cut short due to me knocking the camera over! Looked a good test run, we need it back on the mainline now. Many thanks to the Driver for the fireworks and all the toots! Hello to the lads from Derby, that I met at Vigo.
