Schindler Lifts at Castle Court car park Belfast update before modernisation

Filmed 23 February 2024 We headed down to Castle Court to get an update on and a ride on the two lifts that are still in service. We found that lift 2 has lost its voice that read out the floors as it passed them. The other lift that was still in service still has it’s voice. We’re sad to see these iconic Schindler lifts go, especially since they’re the last lifts here that we know of besides the IKEA car park lifts, the quality of those lifts have really went downhill, as we noticed the last time we rode them.
