We Have A Merciful King (1 Kings 1:49-53)
Adonijah, in fear of Solomon's retribution for attempting to usurp Solomon's throne, seeks Solomon's mercy, but Solomon states a proviso in providing Adonijah mercy. Adonijah must be truly repentant, and the same applies for us to receive the mercy of Christ, that we genuinely seek His mercy by being repentant.
