How simple circles and lines can create something complex | Beginner Art Tutorial #arttutorial

This drawing is a little bit more in depth than a few of my recent art tutorials, but I am giving step by step instructions so that you can create your own - and hopefully use these methods in your creative works in the future. I've used time lapse in places, to shorten the video, as repetitive colouring can be a little dull. Do use the timestamps/chapters below to help you navigate as you draw along. 0:00 What we will be drawing today. 0:17 Equipment you will need to draw along 0:51 Building up initial shapes with pencil guidelines 2:26 Adding in lines with pen 3:59 Tracing over the pencil lines 7:10 Adding a couple more larger circles 7:49 Using a circle stencil to add smaller circles 11:14 Decorating the circles with shapes and patterns 14:11 Inking in the sythe shaped sections 15:20 Rounding off the edges in a neurographic style 16:23 Inking in the circles, shapes and patterns 20:26 Adding colour to your drawing 23:19 End Gallery It's a flowing geometric pattern, using sweeping lines and circles. I'm using a circle stencil at times, these are quite inexpensive and I recommend that if you wish to do a lot of drawing like this, that it is worth investing in one. If you don't have a circle stencil - you can use different sizes of rolls of tape or round coins. My circle stencil came from Hobbycraft .
