Mortal Kombat 1 (alt) [SNES] - play as Goro

This is a playthrough using Goro in the SNES version of Mortal Kombat 1. Read on below for more information... Goro is the penultimate boss of the game. He is an unplayable character in the original version of it. This is an alternative version of the SNES game, where the boss and hidden characters are specially made playable. The game is known as Mortal Kombat Champion Edition, and the mod is made by a person named Snark-4918. ===== HOW TO SELECT GORO ===== On the character select screen, highlight Johnny Cage, hold SELECT and press any attack button. ===== MOVELIST FOR GORO ===== -- Straight Punch: [LP] -- Backfist Upper: [HP] or [HK] -- Fireball: [LK] -- Throw: when close up, [LP] -- Hammers & Throw: when close up, [HP] -- Homing Jumping Stomps: Up -- Double Jump: UB or UF (this does not hurt the opponent) -- Taunt: B or D ===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ===== ---- On the character select screen, when Goro is selected, Johnny Cage's icon does not flash to indicate that Goro is chosen instead. ---- On the Battle Plan screen, the creator has implemented a proper icon for player Goro. In the original version of the game, this icon was glitched if you selected Goro. ---- On the Battle Plan screen, the creator has implemented a proper fight plan opposition for Goro, using Johnny Cage's one instead. In the original version of the game, all of the opponents up to the mirror match were all Johnny Cages if you selected Goro. ---- The "Test Your Might" bonus games have been removed for Goro to stop it crashing the game. ---- In a Goro mirror match, the alternate colour palette are "wrong" colours. ---- In a 2-player game, his VS screen portrait image is of Johnny Cage's one. This stops the game crashing at this point. ---- If you beat single-player mode with him, the creator has made it so that he has no ending and it goes straight back to the title screen. This was done to stop the game from crashing at this point. ---- There are a few glitches and bugs that can occur when playing as Goro. One of these bugs is the loss of the UB/UF Double Jumps, and another is causing the game to crash before getting up (after being knocked down).
