Vlog 219: Moreland Garbage - Isuzu Sport SL240

Tuesday July 1 2025 marked the first day of Cleanaway operating in Moreland, following Citywide Environmental being sold to Cleanaway. In typical Melbourne fashion, it was a pretty crappy day weatherwise, raining for most of the morning, but that didn’t stop me from heading out, I ended up filming 4 trucks, so the day turned out alright. This Isuzu Sport SL240 is one of the few trucks that Citywide were using on a long-term loan and have now continued to be loaned under Cleanaway. This truck is used full time on FOGO so I wasn’t really expecting to see this truck on garbage, it was quite a surprise when I saw it flipping the red tops. For the previous week, Daniel had been driving the Volvo Sport SL240, which is another rental truck, however on this particular day that truck was needed in Port Phillip, so he was given this Isuzu truck to use. This section of the Tuesday area is stacked with units, resulting in lots of bin lines and bins placed behind cars. I didn’t get much footage of this truck, just a couple clips of some unit lines. It was good to film this truck on garbage. FN11480 was doing the FOGO run that this truck would usually be doing, and I did manage to grab some footage of that truck also.
