The Binding of Isaac | Daily Run 28th Jun 2026 (Rank: 2️⃣🥈)

Goal: Eden vs. Mega Satan [Normal Difficulty] Spiciest Stuff: Sagittarius [starting item], Broken Mirror, Torn Photo, Champions Belt, Glass Eye, Squeezy, Sack Head, Meat Cleaver, Contract from Below, Tech.5, Brimstone Eden twice in the same month?! First time it's happened this year at least. Are some characters weighted to not appear as much? This one starts off quite well but the build fails to grow with the increasingly difficult run. I don't know if I underrate Sagittarius but it seemed to really carry a lot of this run, it was especially good with Broken Mirror, the tears just hanging over enemies at the right range. Brimstone does appear but right at the last minute and it's a little nerfed by the Broken Mirror – first it giveth and all that. It did seem to work out quite well with Eye Sore though, a flower of lasers at points. Made Boss Rush in quite decent time (Sagittarius was really clearing rooms out!). Meat Cleaver worked really well here with the piercing tears. It also pauses the bosses for a second for some free hits. Used Ansuz on Womb II to head straight to It Lives as time was running quite low for Hush. It was a difficult battle inside, there were some nasty combinations of attacks and slow Speed didn't help, but managed to take him down eventually. Explored the Dark Room a bit but the Luck was too low to spawn chests for any much needed items so faced Mega Satan with three HP and a Strawman. Brimstone really helped here, as well as being exceptionally careful in the bullet hell parts. A stressful fight I wasn't sure I'd win. The health is quite good until Hush onwards where it gets thin. Really thin... Purgatory is the only item you could remotely call defensive (and that might be pushing it!). I'd put this in the middle for fun, it turns really quite difficult by the last three floors and therefore less fun. I'd skip it if you're on a streak – a tough win. Best of luck!
